On Listening

From September to November 2023, the art space Lothringer 13 Halle presents the project "On Listening", which brings together international artists, researchers, activists, audio, archival material, theorists to question the dynamics of spoken and auditive narratives as well as listening. Together, the contributions and works explore the relevance and complexity of listening from multiple perspectives and open the exhibition space for conversation and exchange.

Von September bis November 2023 präsentiert der städtische Kunstraum Lothringer 13 Halle das Projekt „On Listening“, das internationale Künstler:innen, Forschende, Aktivist:innen, Audio-, Archivmaterial und Theoretiker:innen zusammenbringt, um Dynamiken von gesprochenen und auditiven Narrativen sowie dem Zuhören befragt. Gemeinsam machen die Beiträge und Werke die Relevanz und Komplexität des Zuhörens vielperspektivisch erfahrbar und öffnen den Ausstellungsraum für Gespräche und Austausch.
